Case 46: A hump and hanging tip cause the nose to dominate otherwise beautiful features in this young woman. In this case, a tip lift, hump reduction, and tip refinement preserves some of her rounded appearance, very naturally enhancing her pretty eyes. On the bottom view, we see a good example of how open rhinoplasty incisions should heal virtually undetectably when done with care.
Hi tornrose, The cost of breast implant surgery will vary a great deal depending on what part of the country you live in, the type of implants used, how experienced your surgeon is, what type of anesthesia is used, there are just so many variables that will determine the costs. Some things I would urge you to consider after you've been on a few consultations and seen the average price in your area:

“How much do breast implants cost” is an important question to ask before starting your breast augmentation journey. If you’re thinking about a breast augmentation, make sure you know the true cost of breast implants, not just the cost of a primary augmentation. Take into consideration the likelihood of complications, the cost of ongoing maintenance, and the anxiety you may feel not knowing the status of your implant. Beautiful, natural looking breast implants with low maintenance and low risk of complications are within your reach. Some people opt for a temporary nonsurgical nose job—also called a liquid rhinoplasty—with hyaluronic=acid-based injectable fillers, like Voluma or Restylane Lyft. This minimally invasive procedure can camouflage bumps, create more symmetry, or lift and build up the tip of your nose. This approach has its limitations though. “If you have a large nose, it’s not going to get any smaller with fillers,” says Dr. Miller, though changes in proportions can sometimes make it appear smaller. It also can’t fix a crooked nose.
This photo gallery represents a cross-section of my rhinoplasty practice and includes patients of different age, gender, nasal shape, and ethnic background. This gallery is not a collection of my best rhinoplasty outcomes, but rather a representative sampling of my typical cosmetic result. In addition, a majority of these patients also had simultaneous correction of severe nasal breathing difficulties, which cannot be appreciated in photographs.
Medical and cosmetic treatments provided by Iranian surgery group include a wide range of plastic surgeries, such as rhinoplasty, liposuction, breast augmentation and lift, and face lift, as well as hair transplant, weight loss surgeries (gastric sleeve, bypass, balloon, plication), dental procedures, eye surgeries, fertility treatments, liposuction, orthopedic surgeries (knee replacement, ankle replacement, etc.), and treatment of different types of cancers, and more.
Chances are good that you know at least one person who’s had a nose job. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons says that rhinoplasty is the third most popular cosmetic surgery, with more than 200,000 patients opting for the nose procedure every year. Whether it’s right for you depends on a number of factors, including the cosmetic and structural issues you’re looking to change, your budget, and the amount of time you can take off for recovery.
The consultation is your chance to get acquainted with the doctor and find out if you two see eye to eye. It is also your opportunity to explain why you want to have rhinoplasty and what your particular goals are. You will sit down with the doctor and tell him or her about your nose and what you would like to change. If you've had any previous nasal surgery or have broken your nose in the past, the doctor will want to know about that, too. If you have pictures of noses you like, bring them along so the doctor can get an even clearer idea of what you're hoping for. The doctor will examine your nose and explain what changes can be achieved and how the procedure will be performed.
It is also possible for implants to rupture and leak. If saline implants rupture, the saline will be safely absorbed by the body. A silicone leak may stay inside the implant shell or leak outside of the shell. When a saline implant ruptures, it will deflate. But silicone breast implants may cause no obvious symptoms when they rupture. This is called silent rupture.
Once your bone and cartilage have been resculpted, your surgeon pulls the skin back down and stitches it along the open-rhinoplasty incision across the columella (the tissue that links the nasal tip to the nasal base). “When done properly, that incision is extremely hard to see, once it’s healed,” says Dr. Miller. With a closed procedure, the incisions are made inside your nostrils, so there’s no visible scarring, and the sutures are usually dissolvable.
It is important for patients considering rhinoplasty to understand that if their nose requires repair due to congenital malformation, illness or injury, at least part of the operation is likely to be covered by insurance. This includes situations like sports injuries, vehicular accidents, or birth defects that result in breathing problems. In most cases of cosmetic surgery, however, performed only to improve the patient’s appearance, the patient should expect to pay out-of-pocket.

Some patients still choose saline implants, which have sterile salt water in a silicone shell.  They can be filled after they’re placed, which means incisions and scars can be smaller. Some doctors consider saline rupture less of a concern because your body naturally absorbs the salt water, and patients can more easily see signs of a rupture (like a sagging breast) to catch it more quickly.

As you probably already know, breast augmentation costs vary depending on the person, the procedure, and the clinic. There's no such thing as "one-size-fits-all" breast augmentation. In addition, the prices clinics charge are usually based on factors such as implant type, the equipment they use, the clinic's accreditation, the skill of the surgical staff, and the surgeon's level of experience.

Hello! Thank you for your question. Costs of the breast augmentation procedure will certainly vary depending on your geographic location. Things to factor in for the surgery standpoint will be the facility fee, anesthesia fee, surgeon fee, implant cost (saline vs. silicone), other fees (e.g., acellular dermal matrix cost, pain pump, surgical garment, etc.). Typically augmentation with saline implants will be ~$1000 less than with silicone implants and ~$1000 less than shaped, cohesive gel implants. Consultation with plastic surgeons who you are interested in having perform your procedure and satisfied with the photographic results is advised. Financing options can be discussed with each office individually, if they offer, or there are other private institutions and companies such as CareCredit who may be able to assist you, if you qualify. A range of $4000-10000 is reasonable for a standard breast augmentation alone, depending on the factors above, the complexity, surgeon experience, and the implant chosen. Hope these answers help! Best wishes!

To apply for insurance coverage for a functional rhinoplasty, your surgeon can perform one of several tests. A CT scan shows irregularities within the nose that are not visible to the naked eye. An acoustic rhinometry is a test that maps the inside of a patient's nose. A rhinomanometry tests the level of airflow within the nostrils. In some cases, insurance companies require that patients show that they have attempted to treat nasal obstruction with other treatments. These may include antihistamines, allergy desensitizing injections, and steroid spray.
The cost of breast augmentation surgery will vary according to many factors, including the type of implant used, the experience of the surgeon, the surgical facility etc. The fee for this surgery in our  Montreal practice will usually vary from about $7500.00 - $8500.00. These prices including all costs and taxes, as well as all follow-up visits. Financing is available for patients who desire it.
Ambulatory surgical centers are more expensive than private offices. These venues are owned by a third party, and provide everything your surgeon needs to safely perform rhinoplasty and other cosmetic surgery procedures. They typically charge by the hour. Ambulatory surgical center fees are usually around $3,000 or more for a single rhinoplasty procedure.
The complexity of the surgery itself is one factor that people tend to forget when considering the overall cost of a good nose job. Depending on whether you have thick or thin skin, multiple injuries to the nose or severe nasal deviations, the complexity of the surgery required may vary, and so too will the cost. The more complex the surgery, the more expensive it will be. When planning your finances, be sure remember to factor in time spent off work and travel costs as well.
Again, if you meet the banks requirements, you can certainly opt to pay for your procedure with an unsecured loan. Patients looking into this option should beware as oftentimes bank loan interest rates are comparable to those of major credit card companies. If exploring this option for financing your breast augmentation, be sure to shop around, and to ask if a secured loan is available, as the interest rate may be significantly lower.
It is important that, no matter what the fee, you feel comfortable with your surgeon and confident in his operating ability. Although a rhinoplasty is the most difficult procedure for a facial plastic surgeon to perform, it is Dr. Torgerson’s specialty. He is not only an accredited surgeon, but has also received certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada to perform head, neck, and facial cosmetic surgery. Viewing before and after photos of his previous rhinoplasty patients will alleviate your anxiety ,and you will be confident that the fee charged is well worth the price!
Case 44: One of the hardest things to accomplish in a nose job is giving a person a smaller version of the same nose. In Los Angeles, where small differences can mean everything, doing Finesse Rhinoplasty is common. Even at 6 months, you can see that, on profile, this patient’s tip is less projected but he still has a strong masculine profile. On base view, you will also notice the deprojection and the fact that alar base reduction can be done with no visible scars and maintenance of the natural nostril curve.

6)What else is included with your surgery?  Some are bare bones deals - you get your implants and good bye, while others include a comprehensive pre-surgical assessment, and a thorough post-surgical follow up.  (we've heard from other patients about their friends getting their BA elsewhere, and after the surgery they saw their surgeon only at one week after surgery and never again!  We don't do that ... at our clinic you are welcome to come back and see us as often as needed, and we have a schedule of follow up visits for a full year after your surgery to ensure you get the best results possible.)

Thinking about breast augmentation surgery? Most patients immediately begin thinking about size without stopping to consider other factors necessary in order to achieve your desired results while staying within your budget. The average cost of breast implants can vary depending on the kind of implant, incision location preference, and placement, among others.

A quick internet search will easily reveal the average cost of breast implants which can be misleading; these statistics rarely include costs associated with surgery like anesthesia, facility, and surgeons fees. Before you start mentally shopping for your new bikini or creating that new Pinterest board, consider the following factors that may affect the price of breast implants:

Thank you for your question.  The cost of any cosmetic procedure depends on the type of surgery being performed, where the surgery is being performed (surgical center or hospital), geographic location, the surgeon performing the procedure, and whether a medical device is being used.  For breast augmentation, the implants themselves add to the cost of the procedure.  Another major factor is the experience and expertise of the surgeon.
4) What technique is used to perform the surgery (although most surgeons charge the same fee regardless of what technique they use, in some cases a premium may be charge when special supplies etc are required to achieve the desired results - for example we use a device called Keller funnel which adds several hundred dollars to the cost of the surgery but the purpose of this device is to keep your scars smaller/shorter and to lower the risk of infection and capsular contracture.  We believe these benefits are well worth the extra cost to our patients.)
How much do breast implants cost? That may seem like a simple question, but like many simple questions there are nuances to it. Primary breast augmentations vary based on location, surgeon, and implant you choose. The cost of a breast augmentation and any subsequent breast procedure is typically not covered by insurance companies because it is an elective, cosmetic procedure. Web MD states that the total cost for a breast augmentation surgery can range from $5,000-$10,000. According to statistics from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons in 2017 the average cost of a breast augmentation was $3,718, however this estimate does not include things like anesthesia and other unavoidable surgical expenses. In 2017 the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery found the average surgeon fees for a breast augmentation with saline implants was $3,515. For silicone gel breast implants it rises to $4,014. Again, these average prices do not include the related medical expenses.
Your plastic surgeon's experience and reputation make the greatest difference in the cost of rhinoplasty. Here in Manhattan, it is possible to undergo the procedure for as little as $3,000 when it is performed by surgeons-in-training, supervised by senior surgeons. Meanwhile, there are experienced surgeons who are not performing as many rhinoplasties as they would like, and may be willing to perform the procedure for $5,000 to $7,000. However, if rhinoplasty is your surgeon's specialty, this can provide the best chances of achieving the results you desire. His or her fees will reflect that, and depending on where the practice is located, the total cost of surgery can be upwards of $15,000.
Some might think that this patient had had previous rhinoplasty with tip collapse, but she did not. Occasionally, the shape of the tip cartilages is very vertically-oriented, causing a deep groove in the nostril. She felt this, along with her marked tip crookedness, drew unwanted attention to her nose. Now, her nose is smaller, smoother, more defined, and just blends with the rest of her face.
