Rhinoplasties, like other surgeries, especially cosmetic ones, can cost vastly different amounts. The price of any surgery varies with the complexity of the procedure, the expertise and reputation of the surgeon, and the geographic region in which the surgery is to be performed. Prices for the surgery can range anywhere from $3,000 to $15,000. Typically, whatever the fee is, the cost of rhinoplasty does not include anesthesia, operating room facilities, or other related expenses.
If you check out surgeons online, you will see that the prices of a "standard" rhinoplasty vary quite a lot from country to country, clinic to clinic and surgeon to surgeon. This is, of course, related to the standard of the country, type of the clinic, but most of all and most important of all, the surgeon's education, experience, the techniques he/she uses, the number of surgeries he/she performed, the percentage of successfull surgeries and number of satisfied patients.

On May 27, 2019, following a safety review on BIA-ALCL, Health Canada suspended the licences for Allergan’s Biocell breast implants (the only macro-textured implants available in Canada) based on an unacceptable level of risk of BIA-ALCL with macro-textured breast implants. Allergan has agreed to voluntarily recall unused Biocell devices from the Canadian market.

In recent years, medical tourism, or going outside the U.S. for a surgery or procedure, has become more popular. Patients go to other countries to have rhinoplasty and other surgery performed at a lower cost. While several other countries, such as South Korea, Columbia, and Italy, may have surgeons willing to perform rhinoplasty at a low cost, the quality and safety standards may not be as closely regulated as they are in the U.S.
Thanks for your question.  There are many factors that contribute to the cost of rhinoplasty.  This may include any previous surgery (revision), anesthesia preferences, and the complexity of the procedure.  Each nose needs to be approached individually.  That being said, the average cost of rhinoplasty is between $5,000 and $10,000.  I will reiterate what others have said in that your comfort level in the surgeon, their experience with this procedure, as well as their aesthetic taste should be a guiding factors in the decision rather than price.  Good luck.
For my patients, I also provide a post-operative packet. This includes arnica and other ointments, gauze and tape, an ice pack, and nasal decongestant spray. If your surgeon does not provide these items to you before or after your surgery, they are all helpful during the healing process. I encourage my patients to get anti-nausea medication for the first few days following surgery as well.

Because TCC is a private clinic, we do not perform septoplasty. However, we are able to perform septorhinoplasty, which would increase your overall rhinoplasty cost. In this case, because the surgery would be intended to correct the function of the nose rather than just its aesthetic appearance, it may be covered by your health insurance. Ask your patient consultant whether this situation may apply to you.
On average, RealSelf members paid about $7,500 for a rhinoplasty. This includes the cost of the surgeon, anesthesia, and surgery center. Your cost will depend on your surgeon’s geographical location, their expertise level, and the complexity of your surgery. Insurance doesn’t cover rhinoplasty when it’s purely cosmetic, but it can help if you’re looking for structural corrections to alleviate medical problems. “Insurance will typically cover procedures to help improve nasal function [i.e., septoplasty, nasal valve repair, turbinate reduction],” says Dr. Sam Naficy, a Seattle facial plastic surgeon. “The extent of coverage varies, based on the details of the insurance plan.”

Combined body plastic surgery procedures can sometimes also be arranged simultaneously. Overall each case must be assessed individually in this regard. For information on other facial plastic surgery procedures performed by Dr. Rival please see our main site www.rivalcosmeticsurgery.com .

It is important for patients considering rhinoplasty to understand that if their nose requires repair due to congenital malformation, illness or injury, at least part of the operation is likely to be covered by insurance. This includes situations like sports injuries, vehicular accidents, or birth defects that result in breathing problems. In most cases of cosmetic surgery, however, performed only to improve the patient’s appearance, the patient should expect to pay out-of-pocket.

To apply for insurance coverage for a functional rhinoplasty, your surgeon can perform one of several tests. A CT scan shows irregularities within the nose that are not visible to the naked eye. An acoustic rhinometry is a test that maps the inside of a patient's nose. A rhinomanometry tests the level of airflow within the nostrils. In some cases, insurance companies require that patients show that they have attempted to treat nasal obstruction with other treatments. These may include antihistamines, allergy desensitizing injections, and steroid spray.

Chances are good that you know at least one person who’s had a nose job. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons says that rhinoplasty is the third most popular cosmetic surgery, with more than 200,000 patients opting for the nose procedure every year. Whether it’s right for you depends on a number of factors, including the cosmetic and structural issues you’re looking to change, your budget, and the amount of time you can take off for recovery.
Case 42: Crooked noses can be one of the hardest things to correct in Rhinoplasty, especially if there has been significant trauma involved. The entire nose must be reconstructed in order to make the desired improvements. It took a lot of work to straighten and improve breathing in this patient’s nose. At the same time, his Beverly Hills Rhinoplasty was designed to make his nose a little smaller, more refined, and less down-turned while still looking natural. Even the scar on his tip was improved as part of his surgery.

Dr. Miller says it’s also important for patients to have realistic expectations. “It’s not a good idea to take a wide, thick nose and turn it into one that’s thin and tiny,” he says. “But if the steps are done properly, we can make the desired changes.” Thick nasal skin that makes it challenging to refine the nasal tip needs to be thinned out, for example. It’s important to find a board-certified facial plastic surgeon who specializes in ethnic rhinoplasties.
If the repair or revision of the nose is extensive, then the operating time is longer and there will be more expense involved. The fee is also based on the geographical location. For example, the cost of any facial cosmetic surgery in Hollywood, Beverly Hills, will be more expensive than the same procedure here in Toronto. The other factor and the most important consideration is the experience of the facial plastic surgeon performing the operation. As a facial plastic surgeon gains experience and clientele, their fee is usually more than that of a novice.
With a population of just under 70 million people spread across an area of around 500k square km, Thailand’s most popular regions/cities include Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Koh Samui, and Hua Hin. The capital city Bangkok is one of the most visited cities in the world, whilst Thailand as a whole receives over 30 million tourists each year, the vast majority of these will enter Thailand through Bangkok.
Both silicone and saline breast implants have a long-standing safety profiles. Saline implants are FDA approved for patients aged 18 and older, while silicone breast implants are FDA-approved for patients who are at least 22-years old. Both types of implants are FDA-approved for breast reconstruction surgery. While complications are possible, they are not typical. When complications do arise, they can be treated and reversed with secondary breast surgery.
In terms of anesthetic, you have two options; this surgery can be done under local anesthesia where you will remain awake for the whole procedure and only your breasts are numb so you won’t feel any pain. Another option, which most women prefer, is to proceed with general anesthesia. In this case, you will be asleep while undergoing a surgical operation.
